CAT Skidders

Caterpillar skidders are the heavy-duty workhorses of the forestry industry, built to pull massive logs out of dense forests and over rugged terrain. Designed with high ground clearance and heavy-duty guarding, they can navigate through deep mud, over stumps, and across steep slopes that would stop other machines. They use a powerful grapple or a winch system to secure heavy timber, dragging it to a central loading area with ease. These machines feature a unique articulated frame that lets them bend in the middle for sharp turns around trees, while their oversized tires provide the traction needed to move heavy loads without sinking. The cabs are specially reinforced to protect the operator from falling debris, offering a safe and clear view of the surrounding woods during intense logging operations.
